This past month, our team was honored to participate in several meaningful veteran-focused activities:

Recent Veteran Activities:

  • Attended the Honor Flight return in Lexington to welcome home our heroes
  • Hosted a table at the Veteran Resources and Job Fair
  • Participated in the Caregiver Café with Morning Pointe, discussing important veteran benefits
  • Continued working alongside the LFUCG Veterans Affairs Commission on the new Global War on Terror monument at Veterans Park — the dedication ceremony is scheduled for 9/11
  • Phil is now serving as President of the Navy League, Central Kentucky Council.

As a VA Care in the Community partner, we provide homemaker and respite care services for veterans. We also assist veterans and their families with the VA Aid and Attendance benefit.
